Why does Bernie get all this shit for a tweet meanwhile Warren can literally laugh at his democratic socialism speech and no one cares.

 

Well, lots of people did care. I saw it all over Twitter. Two, because (fairly or not) of 2016 and people in the Bernie campaign then, and now, and all that happened since, and three her response to the question of "I'll have to hear the speech" was not tweeted out to be the main messaging of the day from her official account. Bernie's team is looking for this fight today, has followed and it's IMO ... weird and not a good calculation. Fighting with Third Way on twitter and sending out emails for stickers that say "Bernie beats Trump"? That's the current strategy for these early primaries and before the debate right now? I don't get it.

 

Apparently he gave that speech after placing third in the Iowa caucus, behind Kerry and Edwards. So his campaign was already faltering. My memories of that time are very fuzzy.

 

Wait, is Boris Johnson actually going to be PM?

I can only handle so much bullshit flowing of information each day.

fwiw, I was a Clinton supporter (not a "fan" and this is not an invitation for anyone to get into it with me on this forum on *that* subject, but I was) and I've gravitated firmly towards Warren. Nothing to do with either scenario you posit: I actually didn't expect to like her. But over the last couple of months, I've liked more and more of what I've seen and heard from her. I'll vote for anyone against Trump, but she's my personal frontrunner right now.

All of this to say: I'm sure these people exist, just like there are Bernie supporters who voted for Trump to spite Hillary. But I wouldn't assume they're the norm. They're just incredibly loud. And I've also noticed a lot of the folks who might fall into those categories on Twitter leaning more towards Harris.

I like Cracker Barrel for a super cheap sit down meal but the southern plantation vibe is super weird, they sell bomb candles tho
