Saw her last night. Surprised she didn't play anything new if a release is right around the corner.

Wait, we have an album title already? I hadn't seen an official announcement.

New song is cool. Last album was quite good but I haven't spent too much time with it. Maybe time to throw it back in rotation.

I saw her at Big Ears a couple of months back, and she played several new songs. They were all great, but I've had the chorus to "Shut Up Kiss Me" get stuck in my head at least once a week since then. I'm most excited to hear the studio version of that song, but, really, I'm just excited for the whole thing. The press release makes it sound pretty ambitious/awesome.

Also, many of the new songs seemed to be straight-up love songs, which I found interesting. Of course, I only heard them once, and it was a live performance, so I could have totally missed any darker nuances of the lyrics, if they were there. But I got a distinct "in love" vibe from what she played.

Love the first song. Not sure how I feel about this one. Something seems off about it, can't really place what exactly.

Burn Your Fire For No Witness took a while to grow on me, but I really dig it now.

I like the two singles she's released from the forthcoming album. I get a sense that she's doing something a bit different this time.

I agree in Gjpeace. Sucks all these albums are leaking so early.

Read that p4k profile today. Some good stuff in there but her views on pop music are a bummer. This bit really rubbed me the wrong way:

This is such a beautiful, special album. The fact that I find it so sprawling and my intro to it is paired with my first few hours in an equally sprawling New York make me think this album is going to mean things to me for awhile. Go Angel.

For real, the second half of "Sister" is the best jam Fleetwood never jammed, and I can't remember the last time I had a 7min+ song on repeat the way I do this one right now.
