f'real, best emo album in the last 3-4 years imo. AUTHENTICALLY sounds like the diy basement excitement of 2008 indie / emo / noodly stuff to me. they're really, really good.

So I have tickets to see Death Cab for Cutie at a Lollapalooza aftershow in August. Long story short, the show doesn't start until 11 so I have a feeling I'm going to just be sitting around waiting for it to start. However, Jeromes Dream/Loma Prieta are playing a show the same day earlier. Are they worth seeing live or even just getting into? I don't listen to them much but figure it may be worth getting into them if I actually want something to do beforehand that day.

 

Loma Prieta are the hardest/greatest skramz/screamo band that exists. so yes

i saw them on saturday and they were so fuckin good. i didn’t realize that andy from dikembe and you blew it was playing guitar for them and i talked to him for a bit. he said dikembe is working on new songs so that’s tight.
