Strange choice for the first video if true. Where do you see this?

 

I think he was just being funny BUT now that I think about it, I'd love a 49 second fast hardcore song from Matt and Travis. And produced by like... Ian MacKaye or someone from the hardcore punk scene, haha.

Wondering if we get the album announcement with this. I really am intrigued by the hardcore scene style imagery. Fast punky blink is always welcome.

I just hope it's not another joke song. That's my only worry right now.

I know but I feel like things have been being changed up a lot in terms of how this album is coming together. Originally they were only suppose to have 10 songs on the album and a week or so ago Mark said between 12 to 15 now. The only thing that makes me think it's not a joke song is that Mark name dropped the song title maybe a month or so ago at least around the time he said no joke songs.

I think with this single's cover you don't expect from a song to be a joke one

 

Its going to be a parody heavy punk song showing the divide of punk from the 90’s vs. the pop punk that blink grew into. Small closet, fast music. Blast beats and 50 seconds long. Hoping for Cynical mixed with 6/8.

 

I haven't heard the song but it's 49 seconds long. So if we put together some pieces of a puzzle - it might be heavy.
