Isn’t that exactly what they did with BtD?

 

Remember that rumor last week that they were going to be filming a video to a new song on Monday and putting it out on Friday? Looks like that’s actually happening!

I hope it’s a new song and not just the video for “Blame.”

 

People should calibrate expectations that the band won’t release a new song or video for said song before releasing the video for their lead single. Cause that doesn’t seem likely.

 

I only half remember when they came out but looking at their youtube channel they did release the Rabbit Hole lyric vid before the non lyric BTD video. (And built this pool but I'm not counting that.) Granted a "proper" video for an entirely new song seems unlikely if they're following the format of releasing a lyric vid for every song first but you never know I guess.

Being a "punk rock closet" is probably a reference to the punk rock/started a band type lyrics in BIOMY so that does seems more likely but it's way more boring than speculation haha.

The only thing that makes me think it may be a new song are the hashtags, but I also think it’d be a mistake to read too into that. He did tag previous posts about “BIOMY,” before it came out or was even announced, though.

 

It may be! But I’d calibrate expectations and then you can only be surprised and not disappointed.

 

I thought the new song or album was called Rimjob.
