I can’t get over their vocal harmonies on slapstick.

 

Hmmm I wonder if they'll break out some new songs on this upcoming Europe tour..

 

Five Cups is their masterpiece

Saw them live for the first time yesterday and I was impressed with how much energy their performance has. I also did not expect Conor to use those screams. Hope they come back soon!

 

Watching Minding the Gap and one of the dudes in it is wearing a foxing sweater

 

Somehow missed their Tiny Desk until this morning, HOT DAMN

 

Anyone ever listen to their discography and remember they’re a perfect band

Yeah I rarely listen to The Albatross at this point. I've listened to it, like, once in the last three or four years

 

A year out from NMG and I do still really enjoy it whenever I listen to it, but Dealer still beats it out by a pretty wide margin for me. The Albatross is also still great but definitely at the bottom of the bunch for me

 

Tbh this is the first and only album of theirs to click with me

Listened to The Albatross and Dealer and didn’t really get it

Nearer My God for all its intricacies and wow moments is much more accessible musically

 

Dealer and NMG are yin and yang, scratch two different itches, can't have one without the other.

 

Albatross made me think they could be the best band in the scene.
Dealer and Nearer My God spat in my face and told me I was stupid and they are the best band period.

 

Nearer My God made a fan. I’d liked The Albatross when it came out but never really listened to Dealer. Absolutely love them now.

 

Eiffel, medic, and weave I really like but besides that I could more or less take or leave their pre nmg stuff. That album is absolutely a masterpiece tho, listen to it at least weekly
