Well I just learned the requirements for players is 41 regular season games or 1 SCF game, so if it’s the same for coaches I’d guess no, but who knows. Would be funny though. Would be a great trivia question years down the road.

This is the pain of being a sports fan. You go on these season long journeys with a team and fall short in the final game. I am gutted. This was about as bad a result as i could have imagined in game 7.

Credit to the Blues though. The Bruins had their chances. They just struggled to get the puck up high and Binnington made some crazy saves when he needed too.

I still love this team though. Always have and always will, and I’ll still walk around wearing my Bruins hat proudly all summer long.

I know a lot of people are celebrating a Boston loss but I’ve never really put much stock in celebrating another team coming up short. Seems pointless.

I appreciate everyone hear being cool though. It’s actually made this is a bit easier to swallow. Instead of stewing alone or venting to my wife (who has zero interest in sports and just stares while I ramble on about terrible line changes) it’s nice to just have some level-headed reactions.

Congrats again to the Blues fans. It’s been real. Onto the next one.

Yeah it sucks and I love my team but I’m not gonna get all down on myself because a bunch of millionaires lost a game. Proud of the Bruins for making it that far. Go Sox!

This is a great point. When I was younger I would live and die with every game, even if a Boston team wasn’t playing. Now that I’m older though (33), and older than most of the athletes, I have a bit of different perspective. I get into it, but I can’t let it bring me down too much.
