4 is uncontestedly the crown jewel of the genre.

 

All I’m interested in THIS year seems to be Crash Team Racing, MediEvil, maybe Death Stranding, CODMW. Next year? TLOU2 + Destroy All Humans. I adore Bioshock 1+2 (won’t touch Infinite and I need a new one...in Rapture), 100%ed RDR2, loveeee Limbo and Alien Isolation and hmmm.

I miss Timesplitters 2. And Prince of Persia 2+3.

Well The Witcher 3 had plenty of content so I’m confused by this statement. Also seems strange to want to “make noise” just because a game as so much hype. If it turns out meh then we can make noise. Tho the transphobia thing I thought was just from a non employee account a year ago?

 

content complete just means that everything in the game is already made, they're just at the polishing phase. With the game being less than a year out I hope that's the case and should happen in the beginning phases of an alpha version. this is neither a good nor a bad thing.

I still think alerting CDPR that there's potentially problematic content in the game BEFORE it releases is better than making a stink about it after, because this still gives them time to contextualise it for people so it can't be interpreted as bigotry.

and there were multiple cases of transphobia from official CDPR related accounts, one was from GOG, which was also that particular person's third infraction -- he was later found to be associated with gamergate. The other was from CDPR's main account, a throwaway "did you just assume their gender" joke that led to no further action by the company.
