This was very underwhelming.

AC made me happy though.

 

Animal Crossing looks beautiful and I was crying. Initially I was real sad it was pushed back but I'm already totally cool with it. Spring and Summer are the best months in Animal Crossing so it would have kind of sucked to have gotten it in November. But I guess it's on an island, so maybe no winter? Idkidkidk.

 

Nintendo just dropped a nuclear bomb on E3 with that Direct, I don't see how they leave the show this year with anything but literally all of the momentum

 

This is practically exactly what happened to me too. Exact thought process.

 

Animal Crossing pushed back to March sucks, but a follow up to Breath of the Wild in development is great...

 

put some respect on Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3

I thought it was a DK/Banjo crossover game and I was fully ready to shit my goddamn pants

 

Wait 10 minutes and try going to Nintendo’s channel on YouTube. You’ll probably be spoiled by all of the hype videos.

 

Link falling into a hole and me hoping it’s him falling into another dimension and we’re getting a Majora’s Mask type game.

 

- DQ protag in Smash is pretty boring looking mechanically but damn if the alt costumes dont justify the price of admission

- the new Luigi's Mansion mechanics immediately brought to mind Lego games to me, in a good way

- the Link's Awakening dungeon tiles thing was cool but at first i thought it was gonna be a Zelda Maker-lite where you could share creations. guarantee you we see that within the next five years

- wanna play Collection of Mana but im too behind on current games to justify it. Trials of Mana looks incredible though that's a day one

- Witcher 3 runs fine on PS4/Xbone i dont get where that narrative started. it has its issues but id rather have an ambitious game with issues over none at all. Switch was visibly a big downgrade but im still interested to see more of it

- Astral Chain looks off the chain

- i wanna try Cadence but the rythym action just looks not fun to me

- Banjo was so feel good, seeing all those remastered assets has me wondering if there isn't more to come from those games in the times ahead

- Zelda looks glorious. give me that fuckin darkness

 

Xbox is for the people

 

- DQ characters are PERFECT, I have a revelation that The Hero is who I will master and inevitably fuck up @LuigiPeppercorn with.

-DQ 11 having fast forward mode in battles is absolutely incredible and the one thing I really wanted but didnt need for replaying the game, also the "going back to DQ worlds" thing sounds interesting.

-I fucking love Links Awakening's soundtrack so damn much, happy they are staying true to it.

-I will buy the fuck out of Trials of Mana and fucking STOKED on the Mana collection. Would love to play the third again ASAP.

-I've always wanted to try Catan so thats interesting

- My fucking GOD a BOTW sequel, absolutely fucking amazing.
