starting my giant bomb microsoft watch and Outer Worlds looks sick

 

Still weeping that Destroy All Humans! won’t be out til next year.

 

finished sekiro. took me a day to beat isshin which is pretty OK considering it took me 3 days trying to beat Lady Butterfly

goty so far, for sure.

 

also Carrion from the Devolver direct (lol) looked cool.

 

diablo minecraft sounds dope tbh

 

star wars cinematic trailer looked ok but all the combat looked slow which was weird

KEANU IS GOD OMG DAY 1 PURCHASE

 

battletoads looked eh

rpgtime looked amazing

and a few of those id @ xbox games I am super interested in

 

jesus xbox game pass is super stacked right now

 

xbox game pass ultimate is my favorite thing ever and that is instabuy

finally we are getting lego collections we need those for everything

 

Would make sense considering how long they’ve taken with it.

 

If FFVII isn't out til next march, they'd be leaving it a little late for splitting into parts considering how close to next gen that is right? Assuming they would maybe leave 6 months between releases?

 

I thought the Xbox conference was decent but I agree with Jeff’s take on it. Game pass is god tier while they felt forced to just say hey Scarlett is soon. I don’t really see any major new exclusives showing off right now while we are in that waiting period for next generation.

 

how much did Bethesda pay for this crowd because people cheering for Human NPC is actually wild

 

It was already confirmed for Xbox One back in 2017 I think

 

I'm sure that the remake is PS4 only and the classic is on Xbox

 

The release date trailer only showed the ps4 logo so....

 

It might end up on Xbox eventually, but it's only confirmed for PS4 so far so assume it's not

 

So is The Outer Worlds gonna be the last game from Obsidian that isn’t Xbox exclusive? Cuz if so they’re going out strong.

 

I thought the Xbox conference was good but they definitely missed their opportunity to knock it out of the park with Sony not being there. Cyberpunk, Outer Worlds, and Psychonauts all look like cool games that i will play on my PS4. Weird that they didn’t tell us more about xCloud, esp. with all of Stadia’s cards on the table now. Ori looks amazing but it’s still another year out, that game is taking so long. Can’t believe they didn’t show any Gears 5 or Halo Infinite gameplay, that’s a baffling decision to me.

Somehow I think Bethesda killed it. Fallout 76 updates look awesome, the new IPs look awesome. Didn’t think they’d be able to surprise me but they did.

That's exactly my takeaway from the Xbox conference, too. I bought an Xbox One shortly after release to play Forza and Sunset Overdrive, but I've hardly touched it since. Well, except to play Morrowind last summer.

Did anyone spring for the Cyberpunk Collector's Edition? I kind of wish there were a mid-tier version with some of the stuff (like the art book and postcards) for less than $250.

I really enjoyed MS conference.

Highlights:
Outer Worlds looks awesome, Bleeding Edge surprisingly great character designs will play, Hollow Knight in Game Pass (so close to buying it so many times), Crossfire X (Remedy!!!!!!!), Cyberpunk looks fantastic, Halo Infinite is looking to have a great story, PC Game Pass included w/ Ultimate (did the $1 upgrade, got it until June 2021).

Disappointments:
Gears 5 showing (no gameplay, silly theatrics, Gears Pop gameplay but nothing for game), no BC announcements (with how quiet it's been I was sure we'd get some drops), and Ori release date pushing linto 2020.


Great conference. Had a blast watching it, it flew by!
