according to last.fm the last time i listened to take off your pants and jacket in full was in 2011 (although i have listened to tracks from it since then). let's see if it still holds up:

anthem part two: this was the first song i ever heard that made me feel like i was being pandered to. i remember looking up how old the members of the band were after hearing the line "kids can't vote adults elect them" and being very confused

online songs: forgot how much of a jam this song is. reminds me of all the days i wasted on instant messenger as a kid

first date: still a bop, obviously

happy holidays, you bastard: who sequenced this album? who decided to put this track here (or on the album at all)???

story of a lonely guy: i don't think anybody else in the world but tom could make this chorus work.

the rock show: the rock show still rocks my socks off

stay together for the kids: i'm 12 and this is deep

reckless abandon: why wasn't this a single? one of the best tracks on this album

everytime i look for you: second filler track. mark sounds like he's losing his voice on here

give me one good reason: easily the worst non-joke song on here. i feel like i'm being pandered to again

shut up: as bad as the lyrics on here are... i actually like this song? it's fun

please take me home: i wish the rest of this track was as good as the pre-chorus

what went wrong: i had the 'red' version of toypaj growing up and i've never heard this song before. sounds like a demo. surprised it made it onto a final version of the album

i like 7 out of the 15 songs on here which is 46% or about 4.5 stars out of 10. my favourite blink album so far!

I'm half convinced at this point that this thread belongs in the Politics Forum, and "Tom" & "Matt" are euphemisms for Republicans & Democrats.

 

There’s two chords that play after that last line before the song ends.

I never don’t think about the anecdote in some Blink profile about Tom not wanting to do Rock Against Bush because he was a registered Republican

The “alternate ending” has the last chord of the song ending abruptly rather than a fade out. It’s not a huge difference or anything but still an alternate version of the song nonetheless. Haha

 

This isn’t anything official. Basically, I hacked into the main frame and I told the computer to “enhance! enhance!!!” until I was able to get just the hidden talking from the intro to the song.
