I don't disagree with you but you are not allowed to say anything negative about blink especially not in here. They are rock gods and will be inducted in the hall of fame.

Hey does anyone remember during the MTTS roll out you could download 3 or 4 screen savers from blink's website with the opening riff of Man Overboard playing? The screen savers were cartoons similar to the cover art. I know one was of aliens and another was a guy in a shower.

 

This year's induction already happened. I think Blink's first year of eligibility is 2020.

 

successful sure does it mean it was good? No sadly it was forgettable countless of places online agree but on a site that is the offspring of a blink fan site originally of course that opinion will be different.

 

La Dispute doesn't even have one single song about parties or roller coasters. They do not slap.

 

And yet the word successful was what was used. Curious. So curious why that would be what everyone was talking about.

 

I love Tom, but getting an album and lead single as successful as California & BTD are a once in a lifetime occurence for a band as far into their career as blink, and they would definitely not have held onto their relevance as long if they just called it until Tom finished hunting aliens.

This argument is so dumb that it's hurting my head. You're acknowledging that the album and tour was widely successful, but people online complained about it so therefore no fans like them? If fans dont like them, then who the hell bought the 1 million+ copies in the United States?

I don't frequent this thread often but am I glad I did today if only for:

No roller coaster songs, no good. They should add some roller coaster songs to their discography so people will listen to them.

 

Starting a band called Lo Compromise. Our songs will only be about roller coasters.
Our debut album, Cedar Point, comes out next winter.
