  1. When I first saw Blink in 2000 (during the Mark, Tom, and Travis Show tour) I thought the guy playing guitar wasn't Tom and that they were just doing a joke thing with some other guy and then Tom would come out before they played... haha I didn't recognize him with his longer bangs, hahaha. I was young. :-)

It's hilarious because if it were LITERALLY ANY OTHER FUCKING BAND these people would have the complete opposite arguments than they're presenting. But Blink gets a pass on everything.

Like most things discussed on this site regarding any band/artist, this is very true. We are in the VERY small minority of fans who keep up on news/music/albums, etc. Most fans of most artists are not highly in tune with what is going on.

My cousin, who has lived in L.A. for the past 20+ years and grew up on Blink, was in my car back in April while he was home for a family wedding and a song off California came on and he hadn't had a clue that Tom wasn't in the band anymore.

Are you just shouting things into existence or what? Cause the album did very well.

Not only did California do very well commercially, it was nominated for a Grammy.

    California is a great album.

You are 100% correct, and that makes me very sad and another reason why I hate 75% of my favorite band’s fan base

It was factually successful. What are you talking about?

  10. I hope you are Bizarro Jason. That would be funny.

  11. That user didn't like California so therefore it was hugely unsuccessful. Duh.

If Tom CAME BACK and they made it a reunion thing, then the stubborn die-hard, anti-matt people would come out probably. So like 30 people per date.

But if Tom never left, this tour would definitely be selling just well, if not worse than it is now.

And Tom is NOT gonna be involved with this tour at all, AVA dates directly conflct.

Where did Mark say this? Twitter?

It is weird they talked about the luke warm reaction to "The Party Song" and not wanting to play it, and now they're going to every night of the tour.

As for casual fans not realizing Tom left, there were multiple people at my show in 2016 going "Who is that?" and "Where is Tom?" - it was pretty funny actually.

It was on an IG live q&a he did way before the tour. During simple creatures release IIRC

If Tom never left there wouldn't even be a blink tour and they wouldn't have done anything for four years and they'd be fading out of public consciousness lol

  16. When i saw them in 2004, a dude in the parking lot who was walking behind me up to the venue (which is a little smaller than where they are playing on this tour, FYI) said "Man, I fuckin LOVE Blink! "Feeling It" is such a good song!" And then he started singing "I'M FEELIN IT!" and I was a little embarrassed for him.

HAHAHA, thank you for that. I will never forget when I was a kid I heard "Sell Out" by RBF once at my friends house and later that day sang it back in front of my older brother. I must have sung it in the wrong melody or something because he looked right into my soul and said "That's not how that song goes" and I will never live it down.

Ticket prices is just one factor imo

2016 tour did really well but it was a fresh tour for everyone. Prior to announcing Enema, there was no real reason for a casual fan that went to the 2016 tour to go to this tour

  21. If the new album had been out this month like they originally said it would, that'd be a reason to go because there'd be some new songs sprinkled into the set, and I think some of us were counting on that. But yeah, if it was just going to be the typical run of the mill Blink show again, it's hard to say if I'd end up going to it. It would all depend on the setlist. Seeing Enema front to back again would be cool, but not $160 cool.

I think an album announcement and another song would help.

  23. If they were going to be playing Enema front to back, 2 or 3 new songs, and then a mix of other singles/a couple deep cuts, that'd make me consider going.

But really, I just fucking hate lawn seats for bands that I love. I feel like I'm standing outside watching a party through a window. It's not worth the lower ticket price to me.

  24. Do people really not think they’re gonna announce the album and more songs relatively soon?

  25. That's all I want at this point. Gimme dat new shit! :blink182:
