So what came first, poor ticket sales or Enema in full plans? Seriously though, no music video for BIOMY, no album announcement, odd pairing with Wayne, tickets overpriced. Not shocked it’s not selling out.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

I’ve never seen so many people get so defensive over a band to the point of shoving their fingers in their ears and pretending there’s no other point of view lol

There is no other point of view. Chester French is fucking terrible. I accept no other views.

I'm not saying I want Tom back or saying that they SHOULD bring him back. But i think its pretty narrow minded not to think that the tour would sell better with him there. IDK that's just me.

Anyway, just move the tour to smaller venues and problem is solved, show will be better for fans too.

I remember during that summer Mark would say he thought they were gonna be the next big thing....

Ya i mean it does seems like they overestimated the size of the venues a bit and ticket prices do seem steep even for the cheaper options. They completely rebranded the tour in an attempt to sell more tickets. I guess Blink doing Enema in full in 2019 without Tom and Lil Wayne supporting isn't as big of a drawn as they thought it would be ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Things have changed.

These tickets, at current prices, would not be selling wildly better with Tom. You're not getting a seat without paying over $120 after fees. That's outrageous.

I would be very excited with a move to smaller venues. Between that and the Enema announcement, I think I'd finally commit to buying a ticket.

Blink should re-brand the tour again. Each show is now just going to be a screening of Unidentified: Inside America's UFO Investigation

Ticket prices are doubled but each ticket comes with a free bucket of popcorn.

The idea of playing EOTS in full was being talked about by Mark before the tour. Now the ticket sales may have finalized the idea but it WAS being talked about before

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

Idk why people think Tom is so missed when Neighborhoods still hasn't sold what Cali did in like less than a year

This is ticket prices. Plain and simple

  19. I think it's understandable that fans would rather see Tom play Enema in full than Matt. But do I think ticket sales would really change that much if that were the case? I don't really think so. Not with these prices.

They should have done this in 2009 for the Enema 10th anniversary/band's reunion. Would have been huge.

Always do the right thing. Supporter

I still doubt the average person at a blink show in 2019 knows Tom is gone. I don’t have a sophisticated formula or anything but every blink show I’ve been to there’s like five casual fans who don’t know or care who Matt is and just want to hear blink songs for every die hard who knows all the words to “Lemmings”

  21. Yeah, when I saw Blink at Back to the Beach, one of my brothers that was with me didn't know Tom wasn't in the band anymore until we were standing there waiting for them to come out on stage when I briefly mentioned it, haha.

I overheard someone in the crowd say “Tom looks different” at Lollapalooza 2017.

This is purely anecdotal evidence, by my sister was a huge blink fan back in the day but nowadays doesn't really follow "the scene" - nor does her fiance. They both didn't know Tom had left the band and said they wouldn't go to the Lil Wayne Blink concert.

    A (Cancelled) Dork Prestigious

Those tickets prices are legitimately outrageous. Even with Tom in the band again they would maybe be selling marginally better but still nowhere near enough to justify those venues. And also I'm positive that a decent chunk of people who would pay those prices to see blink are also in either or both of the #NotMyBlink/anti-BIOMY crowd or the "I WoNt Go To A lIl wAyNe ShOw" dorks and not buying tickets out of protest or whatever.

I'm a safe bet like your life's staked on it

It may be that the tour was a success, but the album was not. Probably most because of John feldman. Singles will always be popular but the rest of the album was just garbage.
