Free ticket + private transportation with guaranteed no traffic/wait time in or out.

My disdain for Blossom started in 2009 when I saw Blink there. Left my house at 4:30...after traffic (and a 30-pack of Coors Light split between my friend I...we weren't driving) got in at 8:45 p.m. Mind you, I live 45 minutes away.

Since then, nothing but AWFUL experiences getting in and out of there. I don't recall it being much of an issue before that 2009 show as I went during high school/college a lot with little to no problems.

Good news is...doesn't sound like there's going to be much traffic for this one.

Blink and Wayne are juggernauts, they'd never scale down to anything smaller than an arena/ampitheater.

I don't even think it's really the prices that's deterring people, I just think a lot of people are very close minded when it comes to music. Personally I love Wayne and think this will be an awesome show, but clearly most of Blink's fanbase would prefer if they toured with other rock acts.

One of these two announcements is coming in the next 10 days:

'Hey guys, sorry to deliver you with the bad news, but we have to put the shows on hold to finish up this album. The decision is out of our hands and the label needs the album done and we need to meet deadlines. Refunds available at the point of purchase.'

'Hey guys, we REALLY want to make the 20th anniversary of Enema special so we decided we're going to be moving the shows to intimate venues so we can go back to our roots and play the venues where it all got started.'

I'm not a fan of Lil Wayne so I wouldn't be paying to see him. I'd be paying to see Blink-182. But would I pay $127 ($160 after fees) just to see Blink? Not a chance. Even if they were playing with another band I like a lot, I still wouldn't pay that much to go to the show. So yeah, it's mainly the price that's keeping me from going.

  10. Honestly, I'd be happy with either of these (very possible) announcements, haha.

Bet your life? Uh, that's a pretty careless bet.

You do realize the California tour with Matt has been one of their most successful tours, right?

With Wayne on the bill too I can't possibly see this being moved to smaller venues. But I could maybe see the first couple weeks of the tour being postponed due to "production issues."

And they didn't realize that wasn't Tom singing the choruses on Bored to Death and She's Out of Her Mind. That's the only reason both hit number 1 on the alt charts.

it's not dumb tho, its 100 percent true. People like hearing songs with the original members especially album tours.

It IS dumb. Their tour WITH MATT in 2016 was one of their best selling shows. I haven’t looked at the numbers but I am willing to bet it sold better than their tour for Neighborhoods. And how many other bands have lost an original member and continued to go on strong, if not stronger? Please.

their tour with Matt was also one of their first proper tours in a long time... but doing Enema with Tom would absolutely bring more people out. I'm not saying it would sound better but it would CERTAINLY sell better.

Maybe they'll push out another single to try and help sales? Wishful thinking.
