Shattered Throne is so much fun. I always forget it's a thing because it is only available every few weeks.

 

Did it last night for the first time. A little under whelming, but still cool. The people I ran it with kind of rushed through. I'm glad they used that environment for something else. I felt like they needed to once we visited that area in the main game story. Got the fusion(crap roll), chest(twice), and boots. I like that it's shorter so it's a little more digestible instead of having to invest 2,3,4 hours.

 

If anyone plays on XBOX feel free to add me - JDBoch13. I typically run with two of my good friends and we're always looking for people who aren't immature teenage pricks to run raids or be a 4th on Gambit.

 

Yeah I only just started running it like a week ago for the first time. I have five clears so far. Managed to get the curated shotgun and the sparrow though which is cool. Just need the Anarchy now.

I’m kinda bummed. I’ve been trying to get back into the game for about a month now and i keep experiencing the same issue on Xbox one x. My game will randomly freeze and then it takes me to the installing destiny 2 screen and does the entire verifying content download which takes about 20 minutes. It happens all the time. I really want to play but I can’t find a fix for it anywhere

I thought the Menagerie was a load of fun. Still not 100% sure how it works and how you know whether you did good or bad though.

I get the frustration/disappointment at being on your successful run at the same time as another team is finishing first, but he is really not handling it great lol

 

Oh, definitely not trying to defend his reaction, but I get it. He at least put out a video talking about it.

 

Yeah I just saw that, that was good to see. It just in the moment came across like they were all being really immature about it. Like he deleted his drop of the raid exotic because he "didn't earn it." Like, bro, you were in second place and literally finished so close to the World's First team that the game gave your whole team the exotic also. It's a major, major bummer but come on.

 

Anyways, raid is really cool

 

Going to be interesting to see how things go in the future without VV working on these raids

 

Found in the game's code on PC yesterday in advance of the stream tomorrow.

 

They've only worked on this one and Spire of Stars so far, and honestly Spire of Stars is my least favorite raid experience in either of the two games. This one looks way better.

 

Ah, I thought they did more. Disregard.

 

Yeah as far as I know Warmind and Penumbra/Season of Opulence are the only DLCs they've had a major hand in.

 

Which were, might be, the better smaller DLCs

Oh of course, Warmind was very good for what it was and this season looks like it will be the best of the three AP seasons. I just don't love Spire of Stars, and that's mainly because it is a very difficult raid to run with LFG groups. I can't even tell you how many times I've found a group, gotten to the boss, and wiped on the first steps of the encounter because people don't actually know what they're doing.

 

I was watching Datto's stream last night so I totally get his disappointment. Was kind of heartbreaking to watch it play out in real time, especially considering they almost beat the boss on a run 15 minutes prior. Don't know anything about the drama after the fact (deleting the exotic), but I can totally understand why they feel disappointed.

 

Honestly, just watching these first runs, Crown will be the same for LFG.
