I listened to this the other day and keeled over laughing.

 

My GOD Shayna matches are getting so so boring now. Is the next takeover Summerslam weekend? Surely they’re saving the strap being taken off her till then, right?

The rest of the card was superb, though. I could watch Riddle/Strong and Cole/Gargano forever.

Also, I’m probably alone in like the Forgotten Sons. They all play their role so well. Plus I’ll always have a soft spot for a couple of NXT OGs in Blake and Cutler.

 

just starting Takeover now and literally need to take a break after Riddle/Strong. Strong is lowkey one of the best wrestlers on the fucking planet. absolutely incredible shit

 

Strong is incredible and I think he deserved to win that match

 

I actually had them doing the exact opposite of what they did...have Strong + TUE win their matches, Cole lose, and them turn on him as a leader because of it. Kinda wild that the person I thought least likely to lose (Gargano) is the one that did.

 

They used Ryker a lot like they used Rhyno in TLC II...and Im always a sucker for the "unlikely event as everyone teams up to knock out one guy" thing. As long as they didnt actually make them tag champs, they used the teases of them winning really well.

Problem is thats the first interesting match Ive seen them have. Their feud with the Street Profits was really boring because they kept using the Ryker interference.

 

ROH only drew between 200-300 people for tv this weekend. The crowd looked miserable in pics.

 

Their roster is crazy depleted right now

 

That makes no sense. Vince has been at prior takeovers and this one wasn’t any more spectacular than the others.

I had literally every result wrong. I thought the same. Strong wins, TUE wins, and Cole loses. Expected Breeze and Io to win too. Whoops.

I hope WWE sees stock in the title changing hands over and over. Its not profitable with such short videos, so I'm curious to see how it works.

 

That video was fun but I think they need to have it a little less staged looking.

 

After two weeks the 24/7 championship should alreads be renamed to the roll-up championship.

 

Yeah I decided to skip ROH this weekend. I'd much rather see the Finals game and its late on Sunday night lol Bandido,Scurll, Brody, and Gresham are all not there and the cards are noticeably lacking without NJPW talent included. Taven as champ is such a fail. They also decided to book venues that hold 3,000-4,000, which makes these shows even more laughable. The local indie promotion DEFY draws more than that on a regular basis lol Would have been smarter to book smaller venues.

 

How has it taken so long for a video like that to get made. Pretty much the only reason the title exists!
