Haha, yep, one of those “ashamed to say I’ve never seen films.”

 

This is too much to take. You better post all about it!

 

Finished Slasher S3 today as well and liked everything until the ending.

 

The Perfection

I really wish sexual abuse and pedophilia as a twist and character motivation could just stop being a thing.

With that being said though I was very very into the first half. The cute romance that turns into a delusional disease body horror was riveting. Even the second half problematic portion of the movie wasn’t overly graphic and was handled ok... but man if it didn’t take such a sharp turn halfway through I would have loved it

 

Hopefully The Wailing doesn’t leave Netflix then. I need to re watch that masterpiece eventually

Why didn’t I know the first Blade is kind of awesome? (Somehow saw Trinity despite never seeing the first two.)

If they ever do reboot this, totally should get Chad Stahelski to direct.

 

Wesley, we’re past that.

 

The graphics are heinous but the first Blade is good story-wise and action-wise. Would love to see a proper reboot of the series.

However, if you’ve ever seen the censored version on tv it’s unbearable hearing Frost say “frickin’” every other sentence.

 

Excited for Knife+Heart, gotta resub to Shudder

 

Demon Wind is a gem that I’m just now seeing for the first time.

 

The Perfection was not good. Probably my least favorite movie of the year so far.

On that note, does anyone want to recommend any good horror they've seen this year? I've watched Us, Climax, Velvet Buzzsaw, and Braid as far as movies go.

The reception of Slasher seems mixed in here, so I'm not sure I want to commit to that.
