They're much better live with Matt than with Tom.

I always thought I wanted to see them live, but now I'm not really sure. As much as I love the members and the music, the experience is most likely to leave me disappointed anyway haha.

Reminds me of the 1975 thread. Releases a single, everyone gets mad at them for hyping up albums that take a little more time than expected, album comes out and then they move on to complaining the second one still isn’t out

 

Yeah because no album ever ended up getting done later than the band thought. Or to put it in perspective, I’m sure you’ve always been exactly on time to things, never ever ever late

 

Seriously. I’ve never seen a thread that likes to implode so much

It seems like a pretty typical album rollout to me. I think you're just too excited for it so it makes it seem like it's taking forever.

 

Blink always ”promise” too much, so i dont think this roll out is any different to their other album cycles.

ITS AMAZING! My favorite album. It’s fun, raw, Hoppus in his prime, fun guitar play. Love it. Waggy, Apple Shampoo and Josie are among my favorite songs.

 

Amen to all of that.

Imagine if Tom was in his prime on that album too. Woosh! It’s kinda too bad that the majority of his songs on there aren’t as great as Mark’s.

 

Yeah, Mark was superior back then. I really like Dick lips, enthused and untitled tho.


Tom also stood for most of the... questionable... lyrical content back then.

 

But what is confusing? They released a major single. Announced a tour. And are finalizing the album to be released sometime in July/August. It is normal for a band to release a single before finishing the album. And it is very normal for a band to go on tour before their new album is released. This band did it in 2011.

The only confusing part is fans still take Instagram comments from the band at face value when they say when to expect the album.
