Where'd you go to represent a pirate ship in the night sky?

 

Paper Walls was hands down the best song they've played live for me.

 

Definitely one of my favorites to see/hear live.

 

I live at the beach so I actually went to a beach that has a sunken wooden ship in sight around late sunset (late sunset matched the albums covers the best). Doing this makes lasting impressions for these albums. It was dope

Oh I've been there. Checked it out cause it was in Weird NJ lol. But yea I can see that being a cool spot to listen to it. Might need to go to PA or something to find an open field with a barn though

 

Yeah I'm still unsure, was thinking of finding an abandoned shack somewhere. I live right off of Ocean Avenue (the irony) so I was thinking just listening to it there

 

Which ever one you do I'm sure it's gona sound good regardless

 

Kinda off topic, but has anybody been to one of their, or any, concerts alone? Feels weird to me, but idk anyone who's more than a super casual YC fan (OA singles).

 

I've been to many concerts alone! Talk to people and make friends, but just have fun. I was worried until I got to the venue and realized that everyone else is there to have a good time too; they don't care if you're alone!

 

I've been to many concerts alone including many Yellowcard concerts. In my experience YC fans are quite friendly. When I used to spend all day waiting in lines I met lots of friends that I'm still in touch with today.
Just another way this band has brought dozens of people in my life.


Also, I have realized and accepted the fact that knowing this is the last album will definitely give me a bias to like it more. The first time hearing RIP I was like meh but seeing it with the video I was crying and ended with "I really like the song!"

 

I hope the 7 minute album closer (Fields & Fences) has an outro of epic proportions. I'm gonna cry like a baby the first time I hear it either way.

Maybe I've just been thinking about Yellowcard an extra amount these last few days, but I've only heard the new song about 3 times and the entire thing has been stuck in my head all weekend.

 

Just bought tickets to my last Yellowcard show. Feels weird man.

For sure. It hasn't set it in yet this is the final time I'll be seeing them.

I managed to grab a ticket to the Detroit date. Not the farthest I've driven to see them, but it's going to be worth it.

 

I bought tickets to two shows on the tour...one "normal" one in Orange County and the Ocean Avenue show in Los Angeles. And I'll probably go to Warped just to see them...oh man...the feels

 

Got tickets to Dallas. Feels weird being their last show... I'm probably gonna cry during the last song.

 

Watching some vids of them from Warped so far with Cyrus on drums, they're playing a cool little intro when they open their set with 'With You Around'.

 

got tickets for the final show in orlando... gonna try and swing 2 more shows but at least I'll be at the final one. Actually kind of surprised it didn't sell out yet. Trying to add on the VIP but the site is being buggy and won't let me...

Tickets booked for Glasgow. Biggest headline show they have done in Glasgow, without a co headliner since they came back from hiatus. Can't wait.

 

Hope I can buy tickets for one of their european dates, I've already started to save money.
