While they are just 2.5 games out of WC and have suffered from injuries to Kluber/Clevinger/Lindor (to start the year), I think should probably just look to the future. Right now, I really think they should move Bauer and possibly Hand. I wouldn't move Kluber since his value is probably at a low. Otherwise, the offense is atrocious and I don't think much of it is just a bad streak.

He's been downright awful since July of last year (his averaged dropped 30 points in August/September). This isn't a bad season...it's a very bad full calendar year.

 

Remember there was a rumor last year that Jose Ramirez tested positive for PEDs but then it came out that it was a different Jose Ramirez or there was some mistake (can't remember the full details)...but um, yeah, coincidentally, he's been awful ever since.

No clue. He has a patient approach and his swing is all the same. He's just not producing much anymore.

 

Yikes. He's gotta start committing to pulling the ball more. It's like Mookie last year—pulled the ball more than he ever had before. I remember hearing he had a crazy slugging% or BABIP or something on pulled balls vs opposite field.

Mike Petriello tweeted something earlier about Ramirez's launch angle by year. He's had a higher launch angle every year with this year being more pronounced than last year but I don't know what that really tells us or how much that explains his struggles.
