I am like the most obvious Chorus.FM user.

In Florida I had friends who skateboarded and were all in local bands, and I would watch Fuse and go to Warped Tour / Taste or Chaos & learned guitar to be cool with them cause I was always a coward about skateboarding

I moved to a small town in Maryland where I knew nobody in 10th grade. Started going on the internet cause I was lonely. I started out on a Fall Out Boy forum right when FUCT got released, and then went to a chat room for Brand New’s street team.

Absolutepunk.net was obviously next lol. And the funny part is, this whole time I’m making long term friends and also dated a couple people long-distance, all of whom originally met me as “Ryan” because my mom didn’t want 14 year old me using my real name online. So I at some point had to tell 2 exes, a band member (we wrote songs over Skype and home recorded), and several people I ended up meeting IRL and becoming good friends with that my name is actually Randall lol.

I even started a sports website with @CarpetElf and like 20 other ap.net sports forum dudes. When I started getting on the internet I had no idea it’d be this huge a part of my social life haha. Looking back though I guess chronologically it all made sense

 

I feel like the most obvious Chorus.fm user is Jason Tate.

Gosh I'm such a trend setter

 

It was trash. I remember the biggest thread was one of people discussing whether Patrick is gay or not and I spent a whole afternoon just not understanding why people are so damn homophobic and even cared haha

I also remember posting a lot of bad lyrics I wrote in there that just sounded exactly like a young teen writer trying to be cheeky like Pete Wentz

Seriously I almost went to DQ for a burger, fries and blizzard because of your post. Decided Whataburger is better for 2 out of 3 of those things and I had a coupon (of course) but made sure I got a blizzard at least.
