I'm still shocked that my credit score is good enough to get a car loan

 

This fucks me up seriously every single time

 

I have something against them, they're 99% terrible

 

I don't have as much trouble when they're clean shaven but if one of them has a beard it's harder to tell. I think tom is heftier and lgm has more of a pretty boy face lately and then tom has that scar or missing chunk of eyebrow. It usually takes me a few secs to fully asses lol

 

yeah I feel. I swear though I made it like halfway through Devil before I realized I wasn't watching Tom Hardy

 

Idk i don't watch any of them but people tell me there's plenty of good interesting ones if you look. They really are this gen's big celebs. Just sucks that a lot of the huge ones are gross ppl. I'm guessing the niche ones are a bit better.

 

idk, I know there's a large make-up community that I obviously know nothing about. I like JonTron, h3h3 and that's about it :(

 

Yeah the makeup gurus are not my fave. I only watch Lisa Eldridge cause she's legit a makeup artist. When most of them hit a certain amount of subscribers they're usually just trying to push products and encourage people to buy junk they don't need. Plus the fun of makeup is coming up with my own looks so I don't wanna copy some rando. My teenage sister is obsessed with all those online youtubers and viners tho

ugh i have a dentist appointment today

 

The thing I hate the most about going to the dentist is having to take PTO to do so, such bullshit.

@Kiana You work in social work/a cps type job don't you? I can't get a straight answer from anyone so I thought maybe you could help me. What has to happen for a kid to be taken from their parents? Is there anyone higher than a case worker that I could talk to? I've seen this boy in the ER numerous times and I looked up his past hospitalizations and abuse is there in black and white but no one seems to be doing anything to help him. I'm not supposed to get involved with things like this but I refuse to turn a blind eye. His little body is COVERED in scars from cigarette burns to just straight up mutilation. In my mind that's all the evidence you would need, right?

 

I just got to fill out a survey about Bank of America. This was the best part of my day, perhaps even my week. And its even my birthday this week as well. It was just extremely satisfying to be able to destroy BoA in an open, honest, and official manner. I don't think I exaggerated or blew things out of proportion, but I was definitely cruel in my answers. I feel great now.

 

It's really difficult to remove a child from the home. I've had families where they are all up in dhs' system and have been reported many times and the kids are still in the home. Usually if a fam has pinged their radar too many times they'll be put in a program with a social worker who helps them try to keep their kids so it's often a long process. Has anyone reported it? Even if the kid isn't immediately relocated it creates a paper trail of evidence and eventually there can hopefully be enough built up to do something. The intaker gets the report down and refers it to a caseworker. They do an assessment and if necessary make a case plan. I've never been able to talk to anyone higher up than the caseworker and sometimes I don't even get to talk to them.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I hope that poor child gets help. Usually when they're removed they always have a big paper trail and previous reports. Dhs is all about trying to keep the families together and equipping families with tools to take care of the kids and removing is a last resort. It honestly sounds like the police need to be called. Otherwise I feel you just have to report it every time he comes in

 

Booo my flight is delayed an hour. Could've stayed at home an extra hour. Oh well.

 

Damn, I thought you might say that. It's been reported almost everytime and the police were called maybe twice. I feel so sorry for him. He won't even speak if his dad is in the room. It seems to me like he isn't even on the cps radar. Thank you for your help. Atleast I understand how it works a little better. Thank you for what you do with your kids. People like you truly make the world a little bit better.

 

The family is probably (hopefully) heavily involved with multiple caseworkers and programs. Dhs are required to contact the reporter and notify them whether contact was made, if they found abuse occured, and whether services have been given so whoever is reporting should def know if anyone got involved. I'm always told when I'm making the report if they'll investigate further and they send me a follow up as well so hopefully the kid is on their radar which they usually are if there's been previous reports.

 

It's all rainy here. Tomorrow is dry though! If you wanna meet up I get out around 5pm. I'm already in the city.

Yeah when I heard this I didn't realize there was a story to tell.

 

There is this amazing golf course around here that's in the top 10 courses in golf digest. There's a waiting list to become a member and my dad got in so he changed membership from his old course to this new one. He booked us a tee time on Saturday and he's taking me since I've been working so hard. I haven't played golf in a while so it will be interesting.

 

I can't begin to imagine how much that costs.
