Yeah humidity is the real villain for sure. I'm only gatekeeping for Mikey in beautiful weather California 95% of the time.

I'm just basically cold blooded and get super sweaty in the summer and shiver during the winter, it's not fun haha

Some people just aren't as sensitive to temperature changes, my brother claims that he's always comfortable no matter what the temperature is. I've seen him sitting in my mom's house in August when the ac broke and he didn't even notice it was 95+ in the house

 

Gross why the fuck would a place like that not have AC by default lol. AC is like part of FL culture. In the dead of summer, it’s always freezing fucking cold in restaurants and stores haha. Because being that cold feels good for about 5 minutes when you just came from outside, that’s how they attract customers lol

and then you go in inside with the AC on and it's cold, I never wear shorts haha

 

Mainly because there's no humidity so in 80s and 90s when they were really expanding the houses in order to save money on the cost since it's a very low income city they did swamp coolers instead since they only cost like $500 vs like $5000 and it was ok back then but now El paso gets no many more extreme heat days in a row that it's not practical anymore. New houses have refrigerated air but retrofitting the houses for that costs like $5000 plus alot of houses have to have windows and ducts redone because they are so old and the putty dries out and cracks too much in the heat.

It's not great. I think it cost my sister like 7k to do windows and get an ac unit installed 2 years ago.
