Man Overboard, Set Your Goals, The Starting Line, Valencia are all reuniting to play Warped Tour this year

 

Honestly, I want to go just for Set Your Goals lol.

 

this album is pretty good

 

These MySpace songs getting put back out there reminded me of this local band called The Years Gone By I was a huge fan of back in high school. The nostalgia factor is strong here. Anybody else remember them? They were actually signed to Rise Records for a minute.

 

If that’s the band I’m thinking of they had the worst album covers

 

The Years Gone By were so good. I miss them a lot.

I loved The Years Gone By! That On the Verge EP was some of my favourite pop punk growing up.

 

I remember going to see them play the VFW in Freehold, NJ and it was so much fun. Ah, memories.

Annoyed that Apple Music only has their full length on it.

 

Lol I was gonna say, I feel like I saw them at Marlboro Rec Center a bunch. Probably saw them at the Freehold VFW.

 

New Bright Green EP is out today on streaming places.

It is Zac from Man Overboard. Pretty good stuff.

 

new Angel Du$t is practically pop punk & it’s the first album in the genre I’ve really enjoyed since Copacetic

Finally got around to listening to Stand Atlantic, Lavender Bones (full album) is absolutely top-notch

 

Man they were so good. I always thought they came juuuust too late on the trend of this style of music.

 

This is perfect pop-punk.

 

I just came across their new single on YouTube randomly, and thought it was really good, and just listened to this album. I love this! This is the most stoked I've been on a pop punk band since I was like 17 hahaha

 

Yes! They’re not reinventing the wheel at all yet, but there’s more than enough talent and songwriting chops there where they can evolve into something special. And that switch at the end of new single is *mwah*

So stoked to see people jumping on the Stand Atlantic bandwagon. They definitely have something special that a lot of other bands are missing in their songwriting. Clear and to the point pop punk, with just enough depth.
