i heard new found glory are pretty good

 

i consider bands like Pup, Menz, and Iron Chic to be above pop punk. Direct Hit! is straight up pop punk but can write songs about stuff other than bad stances towards women and "touring is hard"

 

i've never actually listened to them so will check them out. thanks for the martha rec too, I really like them
