Before watching I'm guessing, shitty video, good song. Let's see if they continue the pattern...

Better video than normal. Song is pretty standard Dangerous Summer.

 

Strong Angels and Airwaves vibes in the chorus. Except this is good. Real good.

3/3 in a big way so far. This is basically a perfect summer song. 'Mother Nature' might be shaping up to be my favourite since RFTS at this rate.

 

That bridge is like a dream

 

More pleasant than the last, not as enjoyable as the first, not nearly as pleasing as most of the last record for me. I’ll take the opener and closer of the last album over anything in this “ballpark”

 

I love how divided TDS fan base is. I would say the exact opposite to what you are saying. My ranking goes rfts, wp, st, golden. I like all of them just some more then others. But I feel more rfts on this with what I heard so far just with a bigger sound.

 

Lol I was just comparing the recent songs and then the last record. None of which is really on par with the past (though I’m pretty confident I enjoy the last record more than golden record).

 

I love the rawness of the debut ep, the atmosphere and delay of the debut lp, the totality and force of WP and a few select cuts from Golden and S/T. I can honestly see this new record sitting in the category of the last two.

I can really hear a Box Car Racer song in the chorus... Maybe “And I”?

Anyway, this is 3/3 for me so far

 

I disliked this band until i heard these last 3 songs

 

It's just completely unfathomable to me and I mean it in the nicest, most sincerely perplexed type of ways.

 

That's the one. Got confused by the "And I" lyric at the start of the chorus, didn't I...

 

Total The Cure vibes from this. Love it. They’ve matured well.

 

That one's my favorite for now, and I think I liked that video, pretty simple, looks like me on a skateboard hahh...

 

Haha, same. Always kind of liked them but these last songs have hooked me.

Yeah I’m going to have to completely disagree with you. Been a fan for a long time now and based off the 3 tracks released so far, this sounds like some of their best work to date.

 

My vinyl just shipped so I guess I'll be able to listen to this one early!
