What drum set do you have nerd

 

It’s a PDP! Honestly no idea what model, I bought it for $100 dusty, stacked up and poorly maintained in someone’s basement. And then bought nice cymbals and gave it new drumheads and cleaned and tuned it, and now it sounds better than I thought it ever would.

Might actually be a decent kit that just got taken for granted by its first owner. One of the toms is missing some screws but I’m a 2-Tom guy anyway.

 

As long as it’s not some first act plywood wrapped mess usually you can get some pretty good tones out of most kits provided the heads are tuned properly. I miss my drum set :(

I’ve known a lot of drummers who dearly miss the drumsets they had to sell. My band’s most recent ex drummer literally used this drum kit. Hence why I am not selling mine. They’re sooo expensive to buy that i feel like it’d take years for me to get one again.

 

I’ll only buy one again when I have either a town home or house where I won’t be annoying my neighbors. I have a whole American Drum Co. itemized list of drum shells and hardware ready to buy and make my own when/if I ever do.

 

Yeah I was gonna sell because I’m moving to Atlanta where I can only afford an apartment but I’ll find a practice space. Rather that than just not have drums to play at all.

I am selling my bass gear but that’s because I hardly use it. I’ve found that I can put down and pick up bass any time and still be just as good at it because guitar is so similar. Drums are different, if I’m not playing regularly I lose my skills and my chops

Also most times their stupidity makes me angry but I always think it’s fucking hilarious when people tap on the window between them and the screen showing them seats as if it’s a touch screen

 

Why isn’t it? They should be able to select their seats
