i'm always surprised when i hear people not from or in Wisconsin know what an old fashion is. i had no idea that it was a very, very Wisconsin drink until i started traveling / went to school out of state and realized that most don't even know what the hell that drink is and have never heard of it. meanwhile in Wisconsin it's a required beverage with every meal.

Lol what? It’s a classic cocktail, like every bar can make it and most cocktail bars have their own rendition of it.

 

idk. i've been in Minnesota, Iowa, Ohio, Washington, Vermont, the Dakotas, Michigan... those are the ones that immediately come to mind where i was at a bar / restaurant and the staff had no fucking idea what i was asking for and / or didn't have some of the ingredients to make it. was pretty stunned.

Gin solo > Whiskey solo

But an Old Fashioned > Gin & Tonic or Gin Gimlet

Old Fashioned is a top favorite cocktail for me. ONLY reason I don't like them is because they give me heartburn. But if I ever go to a fancy restuarant or bar, I usually go for an old fashioned with Knob Creek or Bulleit whiskey. (Italian restaurants I'll get wine.)

 

I promise Old Fashioneds exist in Ohio lol

 

I've just started getting into Whiskey on the rocks as I drink less and less beer to eliminate the carbs. What else is good besides Bulleit?

So, if Wentz signs his deal before Dak and Goff at the 30 million per year average as rumored wouldn't Dak and Goff's price probably go up past that ?

 

I think all three of them will have the same per year average, plus or minus $1-2 million, but what will probably be much different (especially for Wentz) is guaranteed money due to injuries.

 

This is true, from the feeling I'm getting is that it seems Wentz is signing first. I believe Wentz and Goff have the same agent as well.
