I'm pretty fuckin' good at Microsoft Incel. It's on all of my resumes.

 

Everyone had a standing desk at a job I worked once and it was sooo nice because I experience so much pain from sitting all day.

That being said there was also my boss who would literally be working at the standing desk, dressed in workout clothes, and doing step-up exercises on a box and I would go in there to talk to her and she'd be huffing and puffing at 2pm and I NEVER understood it!!

I have a desk that goes up so I can stand when I'm sick of sitting. I have the worst lower back pain and it seems to help.

I feel like I'd be in more pain from being on my feet all day

 

I've worked both type of jobs and I'd take the one where I'm on my feet all day at this point; sitting in this office all day is wayyyy worse but that's just me. I am also an old so everything hurts regardless.

 

I never use my standing desk because I hate feeling so exposed and it makes me uncomfortable

 

I have ADD so honestly body pain is not as stressful to me as like, the mental dread of just sitting somewhere for 8 hours

At least physical jobs go by fast. Maybe when I'm certified to do programming things will be different since I have a whole project to be compulsive about. ADD usually works the opposite way when you're locked in to doing something you're very particular about lol.

 

My last job a few people had standing desks, but we were in a cubicle layout, so they'd just be standing and staring at you. it was awkward af.
