I saw them open for Thrice on their farewell back in 2012. I remember just watching Tosin's hands and not really being able to figure out what he was doing and how his guitar was making those sounds lol

 

Haven’t ever caught AAL live but the one time I caught Chon live I had the same experience.

 

Tosin and Javier are an underrated guitar duo imo

Also Sarah longfield is here this weekend. Not sure if you've ever listened to her but if you dig AAL check her music out

 

What city are you in? Pennsylvania? I'm in Minneapolis, haha. I checked Sarah's tour schedule and they're not stopping here unfortunately

 

Saw Sarah open for Wintersun and Ne Obliviscaris last year and she was great.

I just got into The Acacia Strain after seeing them last year and wish I was onboard 10 years ago

 

Also my favorite band right now is Spiritbox

I think Nu Metal is going to make a comeback in a good way. I’ve always had a soft spot for it but I won’t deny there are some cringe worthy bands out there.

 

The new Slipknot masks are pretty boring imo
