The Adventure (This was very difficult for me - I’ll give a slight edge to this. I considered voting for Start The Machine, but the more I thought about it, I would’ve been voting against a song that I slightly prefer just because it was the big single)

The War (Pretty easy since The War is one of my favorite songs on the album and The Gift is one of my least favorite)

The Adventure. Tough call but I adore that little mechanical sound in the intro and this song just sounds so huge. Almost voted for machine just because I love how he sings “say sorry” though.
The War. Gift is good but sounds underwhelming compared to War.


Im glad we ran this bracket, I liked this album as a whole more than I remembered.

Another excellent round and another tie to break. It was a very hard one to break too because I like both of those songs about equally. I had to go with The Adventure though, not because it’s the single or anything but because I think it’s a genuinely good song. Something about it has always struck me, and it has this uplifting sense to it tht I’ve always admired.
