I go on a houseboat next week with my family. My brother and his gf always make crazy cocktails...their own simple syrups, etc. Im shit at mixing like that, but I always enjoy what they come up with

 

Gurley didn’t play for a year when he tore his ACL. Bell was not in injury recovery, he was voluntarily absent

Well, the theory was it'd be warmer in Minnesota, so, its not so much gonna be swimming off the boat sadly. But we'll be in Voyageurs NP on a 50' boat floating around on the lakes drinking beer.

My dad's 55, and my brothers gf has only done limited camping...we used to do family vacations as long backpacking trips, etc...but this seems like a nice middle ground. Can do day hikes and be outdoors, but also sleeping in a bed and cooking on a stove.

 

Every single family member had the same reaction, which was first to basically laugh in my face at the idea...then they looked into it and now everyone is pumped.

That's dope as hell though! Sounds super fun!

 

Yeah, the last 2-3 years its been like 70s and 80s up there this time of year. So even though the water was ice like a month ago, itd be warm enough to hop in here and there. Not so much if its 55 out.

 

I feel like you're speaking in Midwestern right now. Warm enough to hop in is like, 80+ haha

 

Best part though is gonna be 0 wi-fi and cell signal. Gonna spend a week just completely unplugged with family.

 

Haha, well, Im a kayaker in the mid-atlantic. I go out in 30s and 40s, so cold is relative to me.
