Still quite the perfect record, honestly

 

One of my favourite albums ever at this point

 

I probably like this about as much as home honestly, even if that album is more important to me

 

i've actually circled around to the other opinion

 

Sun is so fucking perfect.

 

Sun might be my favorite song of theirs. I love that ending so, so much.

 

Happy 3rd birthday to this masterpiece of an album. Easily one of my all-time favorites and still hits just as hard today as it did when I first heard it.

 

Just doesn’t feel like 3 years haha. Very grateful for it!

 

This will unquestionably be one of my top 5 records of the decade. Can't believe I didn't even like it the first time I listened to it.

 

Hard to believe it's been three years since this came out. I don't enjoy it as much as Home, but this album is still tight and has some of their best songs

 

So many memories of that spring, and listening to this album. The weather was very warm for May(unlike now), and it was the perfect companion for this album.

Ranks of soldiering messes of
Dayglow blades scorched by hovering halos
Washing away until I don't even cringe at the thought of you

 

Soft Animal still cuts deep

 

I never really fell for End of Reel like a lot of ppl have, I think it’s a good song still, and a solid closer, but it just never really went any deeper than that for me.

 

My fave song of theirs is definitely Soft Animal

 

Nothing here beats Dendron or Among the Wildflowers but Soft Animal, Two Deliverances, You In This Light, all fantastic

I could use a new album

Fuck I just remembered how much Wildflowers sounds like The Weakerthans and now I’m ruined again

 

Two Deliverances, and Settle the Scar being back to back is still perfection

 

I know I’ll be in the minority but I really think, musically and lyrically, Home pales in comparison to this.
