I do not understand celebrities having their own weed strains. I guess they can slap their name on a hybrid, but that article says "[these] seeds were apparently first distributed at a 1991 Grateful Dead concert." So it's really not her strain at all? Weird.

 

No they are paying in exchange for something in return.

 

It's not so much redistribution of wealth, but just trickle down economics. Except in this case it sort of works because those trickle down funds don't get redistributed amongst the masses.
