Yeah to me it definitely looked like Jon clearly made the choice to stop fighting as in stop attacking, but he's still in the middle of a raging battle and he defends himself when people come running up and try to kill him. Then he aslo makes the choice to kill that person who was about to rape that woman. But he's not attacking the city or it's inhabitants anymore.

There’s no way anyone who thinks this thread is bad has been over there. It’s like a room on fire and everyone is throwing chairs and screaming.

The dothraki are used to sacking and pillaging and raping as a way of conquering cities. The Unsullied follow Grey Worm and Daenerys, so once she started killing civillians they did too. As for the northerners, I just assumed they got caught up in the bloodlust of it all.

If that was what that look signified, it was probably a "we'll see what Daenerys does" not "we'll see what I do" lol. Like "that's a nice sentiment but she's the one who has to stick by it."

I am pretty happy with how they’ve always kept Jon as the moral center of the show.

Jon is the answer to who wouldn’t flip the switch in the Trolley Problem.

Jon is the most like Ned of any of his children and he isn't even Ned's son

Well, that's consistent with the Dothraki and the Unsullied probably followed because Grey Worm did.

I find myself heavily disagreeing with a lot of opinions here, however, not once did I ever think anyone was being "rude" or "bad." I like to think the same goes for all my comments!

I like Jon and think he's done pretty damn well considering the shit hand he was dealt over and over and over again.

My biggest complaint with Jon haha.

Also, Davos is the moral center. Eat sand.

Some of the takes this week were on that level but not the thread as a whole, thank god.

It looked to me like Jon was uncomfortable and did not agree with a lot of what Dany was doing right from the beginning of the episode, but he was remaining loyal to her even if he was internally struggling with it. He didn't seem thrilled about roasting the bald guy for example.

I think they all still remain loyal to her and saw her still leading an attack so they felt there was still no surrender and had to keep fighting. That is what I got from it. And when Jon didn't want to continue, Grey Worm was kinda like, "dude wtf are you not following your Queen??"

I honestly just couldn't remember how to spell it. Didn't mean any disrespect.

I always get the names "Varys" and "Viserys" confused.

Yeah throughout the show the reference what happens when armies invade and sack a city. It basically becomes a blood lust free for all.

I gotta admit....that shot of the Northmen standing across from the Lannister soldiers....you KNOW a lot of those northmen wanted some revenge on the Lannister army.

I'm not saying it is right or correct, but I could see Grey Worm just killing everyone who is in front of him after watching Missendei get her head cut off on the city walls. He's kinda taking it out on the wrong people but still.

I may or may not have broken out into West Side Story during that moment.
