Man, I straight up just don’t even care anymore. I’ll watch the last episode out of obligation but this final season has been a wet fart.

The parallel they maybe should have focused more on than Hound/Arya was between Arya and Dany, as two people who were traumatized and exiled as children, whose minds were clouded with revenge and who, when forced to act upon their grudges, had to confront or ignore some form of morality/growth

I get the Hound/Arya connection though and it was done mostly well here.

Cersei walking by The Hound on her tippy toes like, “Scuse me boys, I know this doesn’t concern me, bye bye,” made me pause the show laughing. I need a gif of that for avoiding drama posts.

 

If anyone likes the Digimon movie Our War Game, Mamoru Hosoda, the guy who directed it, made a very good movie called Summer Wars that's worth watching. It's kind of like Ready Player One but really good instead of really stinky.

The Qyburn death was funny as fuck but it’s also fitting the Mountain just tossed him like a fucking ball and killed him

 

Jon, Arya, and Davos are pretty much the only characters they haven’t destroyed.

 

Looks like the Valonqar killed Cersei after all lol

 

I think I mostly liked this?

Enron was lame as shit this entire time and was really glad he finally died, but god they even made him dying annoying.

Arya’s last moment with the Hound was great, but the Clegane Bowl felt very revenge of the sith. Over the top and kind of boring.

Dany going mad queen was actually set up well with the whole fear conversation with Jon. It feels a little rushed overall because of the nature of the short season, but overall it worked for me.

Jamie dying with Cersei feels fitting and bad at the same time. I’m okay when characters revert to their basic nature. That can feel very human and real, but it still feels like both of their endings were poorly resolved.

 

Anyone spot Aaron Rodgers or was that a lie

 

They ruined Jon a long time ago

 

Jaime can be a far better person than he was at the start of the show and still love Cersei/be unable to quit her. Both things can be true at the same time. I promise it’s possible.

 

Tyrion? I feel like there is still plenty of hope for him...

 

This ate up the long night and shat it out for what that is worth.

 

probs my favorite director not named Satoshi Kon. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is one of my favorite movies ever.
