yeah, I'm p good at waiting tables and whatnot (if I do say so myself) but towards the end of me doing it before it started feeling super isolating and I was just not happy. I actually liked the work itself most of the time (shitheel customers aside) but I just absolutely dread ever going back haha. and I did make more money doing that but the fluctuation made it hard for me to plan anything at all cause when it went low I'd barely be making minimum wage. it probably wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't in school too tho so perhaps one day. I get weirdly wistful over what amounted to getting paid shit to be treated like shit lol
