Not sure about California and Enema. Without the joke songs and the half a dozen weak tracks (I'm including the deluxe), I would be more sure. Considering that's not the case, they could easily swap.

I hope the new record enters my Neighborhoods and TOYPAJ tier. BIOMY is on that level to me.

A few days in, I really like the new song. Not as much as when BTD came out but up there.

Always surprised to see TOYPAJ higher than EOTS in the hot fresh topic of rankings.

Untitled/DR are more or less tied for me
    EOTS
    TOYPAJ

Never listen to the others enough these days to form an opinion but then it's probably Chesh/Hoodz/Califragalistic.

Just listened to After Midnight for the first time in quite while. I still think that’s the best song off Neighbourhoods and could have been an ‘Untitled’ song minus the obvious change in ageing vocals from Tom.

i think Enema is a consistently more solid album from cover to cover than TOYPAJ, but i'd still put TOYPAJ above it as it's high points are better than Enema's high points imo. nothing on Enema quite tops the likes of Anthem Part 2, Online Songs, EILFY or PTMH for me

oh we're on this cycle of the thread again

    Neighborhoods
    TOYPAJ = untitled
    California
    Enema
the other two became unlistenable to me over time

No way Neighbourhoods can be number 1? I mean it has some good songs but the three previous albums that came before it are just way superior. I suppose opinions are opinions and I appreciate that!

Ps love the display picture, LLL is a masterpiece!

In other news is everyone just forgetting DED ever came out with the lists haha?

This works on two levels because Mark (Hoppus) ranked his own albums, but I (also Mark) am the one that called attention to it and kicked off the rankings. Whoops.

i arrived late on the blink (& co.) bandwagon. other than singles here and there when i was growing up, my first full album listen was TOYPAJ in 2008. liked it, didn't love it, then forgot about the band for the longest time and only listened to Neighborhoods in 2014 after falling in love with AVA for some reason.

it's not a good album per se - no blink or blink-related album is "good" other than untitled imo -, it just has songs that resonated like hell with me and sounded more like Tom's U2 ripoff/space rock bullshit, which i had shamelessly bought into at the time.

i retroactively listened to the rest of blink's discography after that. untitled was great. it still sounds genre-pushing and adventurous to this day. TOYPAJ grew on me over time and DED was cool too (because it sounded like AVA, again). California was alright, though it didn't feel like blink anymore, just a catchy generic pop punk album. i've long fallen out of love with anything blink-related, but i'll always pay attention to whatever they come up with next.

at the end i guess i'm just the rare person whose brain is wired differently when it comes to this band. maybe not following them as a teen and listening to everything out of order and context gave me a different perspective of things.

The Maine, on the other hand... that is a great band. i've had this picture longer than i remember though, just not arsed to changed it haha

Crazy to me to see Dude Ranch pretty low on some lists. Easily Mark at his best for me

I don't think I've seen one thing from Feldy about Blame yet

Even though he did half the album he's just like "didn't work on that song, meh" lol

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

I’m expecting Ticketmaster to lower prices for these blink shows based on their new supply/demand pricing. From what I can see, lots of open seats still.

Swap out Give Me One Good Reason and Reckless Abandon for Time to Break Up and Don’t Tell Me It’s Over and TOYPAJ jumps over Enema for me

Wonder who else is on the album

If they did more than one song with Pagnotta

Safe to say if you work with Pharrell it makes the cut

They worked with that other producer who had some notable credits, don't remember the name but the studio was like bathed in red light

And we know the Chainsmokers song isn't a blink song

Dogs Eating Dogs is an incredible EP. I loved the direction they were going in. I'm not ranking it because I can't really compare a 19 minutes EP to a LP, but a full length in that vein would be my 2nd favorite blink record.

BIOMY just came on in the background of a Spotify mix. I can verify, definitely a blink-182 song.

Was wondering why i haven’t hear BIOMY play on 91x here in San Diego and just saw they’ve played it 3 times since being out, but being played at the weirdest times of the day.

Also, I added New Blink and AVA onto my 2019 playlist. BIOMY into Rebel Girl is an awesome transition and works really well.
