Not for the first few weeks usually. Just 3 day passes.


I think this line-up sucks for TIHC. I don’t know if many of the greats that played either don’t fuck with Joe anymore or just don’t have an interest as much now, but GB is really the only big pull for me. I’ve seen 100 Demons, All Out War, And most of the others listed that I like. The up and coming bands I know maybe 3 of, and STD (regardless of their early albums) does not blend nearly as well as bands like H20 with these bands.

 

How come?

Last night was insane, got there early and managed to maneuver my way to dead center during the surprise Queensway set and Vein which was absolutely insane. I took a singular two second video on my Instagram @oohdoiloveyou kinda took an L by not knowing as many of the lyrics as I should have cause I get the feeling getting a mic pass from Vein is gonna be harder and harder get. Up there for best/favorite show I’ve been to

 

Did Queensway mention anything about new material?

 

I’ve slept on The Beautiful Ones. Got really into Jaded Love this week, super cool vibe

 

No but I think they played a new intro kinda thing.

The opener, Adrenaline, has members of Queensway and that comes out on the 24th.


Y’all listen to Stepping Stone? These guys are the shit. Listen to this and Slip 2 the Crypt. They are so good, coming to Baltimore in August so I imagine there will be at least a US East coast tour (they are Canadian)

Backtrack is callin it quits after this final world tour, can't believe they have been around for 11 years, I feel old.

 

Damn Darker Half got me into hardcore straight up, not sure if I can make that Va date tho :/

Have a conflicting show (Fury, Praise, Diztort and Plastic Taste) and I know I won’t pass out from heat exhaustion at this venue

 

I never get dead heat exhaustion, still spinning that album.


The other day I listened to the first backtrack ep again and realized it came out forever ago. I remember buying it at UB the first year they played it.
