Haha, not buyin Endless Summer as the album title

 

Where is this rumor coming from?

I can buy Endless Summer as the title since it's the last lyric of BIOMY. Pretty uninspired but it's not like it affects the music so whatevz.

 

Whatever. Give me a good blink summer feely album. Stoked.

While I love Jon, these are literal words spoken by Tom in a song. If you already knew that then please pardon my blinksplaining.

 

I want a Blink album where no two songs sound the same, but they all still work cohesively as a whole.

 

I should clarify what I said above. I don't by Endless Summer as the album title because Tom has a solo demo called Endless Summer. No way, no how.

But from an overall standpoint, the title would make sense for a Blink album. But not because of a Tom demo.

sure have! it sounds like they went for a similar approach for this new album, albeit it's not going to SOUND like Untitled, but that's what i'm here for. they put out an album similar to an older one, but now bring on some completely different shit!

 

Yeah but since they said it in BIOMY they're obviously not THAT bothered by Tom using it before. Also for all we know it could have been something Mark and Tom discussed as a phrase they liked and that's why Tom wrote the song (since it was meant to be a demo for blink) and maybe Mark still likes it. Plus it's like a teen fantasy cliché so it's fits blink perfectly haha.

 

I really, really don't think Tom has ANYTHING to do with it, if that's the album title. Endless Summer is a very popular term, it's probably the most famous surf movie, it's a common term of phrase that isn't unique to Tom or Blink, both who are Southern California born and bred.

Yeah i'm not saying Tom invented it or influenced the choice. Just Mark MIGHT have mentioned it before the 2nd break up and that's why Tom wrote that song. (At least in my fan fiction I write where Mark and Tom are still friends. Check out my tumblr...)
