That's like the crux of my argument. They should be incredibly stoppable. Any team who has trouble covering Chester Rodgers should fire their defensive coordinator.

 

Funchess will be a good as a fourth option in a not stale passing attack

Funchess may not excite anybody but he is an upgrade over what you had. I like him much better as a WR2/3 than being “the guy”.

And TY Hilton honestly never gets WR1 credit

 

This is spoken like a compliment but should really be considered a ding.

 

Should be 7-7 since he came in and drove the team to a win over the Jets. .500 sounds like a Jeff Fisher glass half full, but it's a championship for Cleveland.

Hilton and Ebron is a tough duo. Then they got Campbell, arguably the draft’s best deep threat. Funchess is literally just a guy you throw jump balls to. He’s fine if he doesn’t have to run all these fancy routes like he did in college / Carolina.

 

I would love if some site kept track of this.

Also if you’re going off last year’s Colts/Pats game as the basis for “the Colts offense is terrible”, that is a bad example because Hilton, Mack, Kelly, Castonzo, and Doyle were all out on O, plus 3 defensive starters (including the only good defensive starter Darius Leonard) and they had something like 10 inactive total so they were playing down a couple roster spots

 

We had a top ten defense last season and the Colts absolutely shredded them from top to bottom.

Just a one game sample, of course, but combining what I saw with seeing they ended up #5 last year in overall points per game is enough for me to think they'll finish around the same again.

 

You know who’s NOT gonna be a top offense? Jacksonville

Oh yeah def. I wouldn’t count last year against them at all. It was almost laughable how hurt they were. Think it was a Thursday too. I just don’t think the Colts offense is scary.

 

Funchess will be similarly good (and similarly frustrating) as Ebron, will probably get fewer targets than 2018 Ebron because there are more mouths to feed, and you can make fun of me for that being wrong if it isn’t true

 

The Giants signed RB Rod Smith. He used to be Zeke's backup in college and on the Cowboys. Now he'll be Barkley's backup and will probably be going head-to-head against his brother Jaylon Smith multiple times a year.

Pretty crazy. Happy for both of them.

 

Steelers offense will be just as good without Bell and Brown

 

I actually agree with this as well. Both replacements have shown, both on the field and off, that they're great.

 

The Texans will bubble wrap Will Fuller and hold every play and it'll be fine

I agree, but mostly because I think they'll actually find running balance as a result this year. They were almost 2:1 pass last year, which is insanity. Give me 200 carries for Conner and like 100 each for Samuels/Snell, while Ben throws 550ish times. Basically what NE did last year.

 

I’m fine with this take, tbh. I like their offense a lot but I will say that I think the Colts are overrated in this post draft coverage

I hope they prove me wrong, but I don’t think they were a pass rusher who is past his prime (but hopefully still productive), a WR2/3, and a draft class away from bridging the gap with the elite teams

 

Gotta say, if I had to say right now I’ll bet Tyreek Hill plays next season
