England women are doing a fun reveal of the team with random people (from Prince William to David Beckham to Emma Watson) announcing each member of the squad. Emma Watson's is my fav so far due to the whole turning around and revealing a t-shirt oddness.

They were pathetic. As pathetic as PSG were when Barca themselves got that comeback a few years ago. I only watched the first half (as that was all I could take, you knew Liverpool would win as soon as they got the early 1st goal), but I thought their weird 4-4-2 that they play was 100% the wrong formation to go with. They have no real leaders, lack a strong mentality (evidently!) and Messi is not the type of captain to encourage and rally everyone around him like Henderson can (!). Suarez petulant from the first whistle, people like Pique, Vidal and Alba are pretty much finished at CL level at least. But most of all they were just bad and that is what was so disappointing about it - TAA just summed them up with that clever corner; sunday league defending from Barca. One goal from them in the first half and that would have been tie over, but you could've given them another 90mins on the night and they would not have scored. Losers - Just my opinion though!

Liverpool have hit the jackpot with Trent Alexander-Arnold though. Getting a youth product like him through, with such intelligence as well as ability at an early age, is a once in a generation occurrence.

 

Chelsea have lost their transfer ban appeal.

 

I have no idea what to expect today

 

Very bad news. Strengthening squads is an absolute necessity for so many of the top teams this summer it is unreal; Chelsea will lose out on all of their targets because every team I can think of bar Liverpool needs what they need (fullbacks, centre back, winger(s) striker!). Hazard leaving will be unthinkable.

 

They can still appeal to the Court for Arbitration of Sport but this is definitely a blow. If Hazard leaves I can't even think what will happen to them.

 

I know what will happen to them - 6th place next season! (If they’re lucky!)

I think we’re just gassed. Been such a stressful season. The squad is so thin and banged up. They look stale.

I hate that Ajax is going to get decimated in the transfer window. They’re so fun to watch, even if it’s against my team.
