i just started watching the smackdown highlights and already they are doing better with the dumpster fire that is the "wild card rule" than raw

 

I think Peyton and Nikki wrestled main event lol

damn smackdown just buried the blue thunder bomb. i know it's not supposed to be as strong as the helluva kick but even corbin occasionally wins with the deep six instead of the end of days

 

this tag team champs reign better last a while

i mean, you could do a pre-taped something something. Hell you wanna get people like me to tune in every week, stop being lazy, and pre-tape something like Charlotte and Becky and brawling at an airport. or the street. or some shit like that.

There's a lot of #1 things i would change about the WWE, but god damn if #1 isn't really "STOP BEING LAZY WWE".

 

Firefly Fun House is a great example of them not being lazy...and shocker...people like it.

btw just noticed. Is Mercy the buzzard a nod the Waylon Mercy? Just watched the segment and he does say "know what i mean" in the waylon mercy voice.

ive been saying for a few months i dont understand why the WWE care that much about the revival. they're NOT a good fit for eachother. Honestly, i dont even think they're that big of a loss. I see a lot more value in Sasha and Harper

 

The thing is, everyone knows they’re trying to devalue them and will ignore it because they know how petty Vince is. All the humiliation on TV will do is give The Revival more motivation once they leave.

Devaluing someone may have worked in the pre internet days. But it’s completely pointless these days.

 

i'm prob looking too far into it but Kofi racking up these big title defenses on tv has me worried that this is their way of adding some quick legitimacy to his run so he doesn't look weak coming out of losing it to KO at MITB

 

Maybe. I feel like Kofi will get the DQ win if anything due to KO getting too frustrated at some point and attacking him with a chair or something

 

The best way to “devalue” them would be take them off tv. Let the casual audience forget what they look like. That way one day when they are flipping channels and see them on AEW they have no desire to see what those weird guys from WWE are doing there.

 

TBH i'm not sure how many casual fans are gonna be stopping to watch AEW. The only person the casual audience will stop for is Jericho. No one else has the drawing power for casuals, not even Cody.

 

yeah i still dont think there is enough heat on KO or the angle itself to pull the trigger this quick but maybe they think there is better ratings in a face pursuing a heel champ or something idk
