    Weather-wise

The northeast has amazing bike trails that you still can’t use when there’s ice hahaha

I get that the northeast is more connected and ATL is an anomaly but I also think much of the northeast has shitty sidewalks and encourages riders to ride in the road, putting them at mortal risk and increasing traffic.

Whew boy, these stats are VERY interesting. Got the bulk of them settled now and am gonna do my best to format this in an easily readable way that doesn't exclude anything important!

With all the news of the potential $30 million contract for Dak being in the works, there's been a lot of talk about him and the other 2016 QBs and where he ranks against them, who deserves what, floors and ceilings, etc...

Stats do not tell the whole story, so this could very well be an exercise in futility but I still had fun putting it together and think it's at least interesting to look at. I took the stats from each player by game and sorted them by passer rating, best to worst. I know that's just one stat and it's not perfect, but from a macro view, I think it's at least a decent thing to look at. I removed all games where they played 2 or 3 snaps due to injury or playoffs being clinched and other junk like that. I then took their top 16 games and their bottom 16 games by passer rating since those would equal 1 full season, as well as combined rushing yards, touchdowns, and fumbles (regardless if they're lost or not) with their passing stats to get an overall sense of their contribution to their respective offenses.

It was kind of tough to put all this on one spreadsheet but under each players' section name their best games are on the left side and their worst games are on the right:

    Overall Numbers:

The difference between their own best and worst to find who is the most consistent:

    A few random notes:

    - The floor for each of these players are all pretty bad and would be replacement level if you don't consider future contracts, but I seriously doubt any of these guys even get close to these kind of seasons

    - The ceiling for each of them are all extremely good and I think them being within ~500 yards, 5 TDs, and 8 turnovers of each other, they are all on the same level

    - Each of these players have shown that with good/great talent around them, they're easily great enough to be considered franchise QBs and you can't really go wrong with any of them

    Biggest positives for each player:

Dak - He's extremely efficient, careful with the ball, and durable being the only one of the 3 to play every game since being drafted
Goff - With the right team around him he can put up Mahomes 2017 level stats
Wentz - He has the highest floor and is the most consistent of these three

    Biggest negatives for each player:

Dak - 9 of his best games were as a rookie
Goff - He has the most drastic drop off between his floor and ceiling
Wentz - Pretty much only his availability

Oh yeah, I averaged all of their rankings as well and got this:

    1. Wentz - 1.67
    2. Dak - 1.87
    3. Goff - 2.2

Barring catastrophic injuries or incredibly drastic drops in production and quality of play, these players will sign 5 year contracts with their respective teams. If their teams aren't willing to do it, they absolutely will get something very similar, or more depending on a bidding war, in free agency. And in my opinion, they 100% deserve it. Period.

Of course each of them have big question marks, but outside of the 4 or so written-in-stone elite quarterbacks, who doesn't? I think they each have way more great games and moments than bad and once a few of the oldest quarterbacks retire, they'll become and continue to be top ten QBs for the rest of their careers.

  11. What about mason Rudolph though

I'll immediately re-do the entire thing to include him! Haha

Tbh, I wish I included Watson in all of this somehow, even though he hasn't really played enough games. That's too much work even for me to figure him in at this point.

I’m just tired of all the old QBs haha. Rivers & Brees are fun but I’m ready for the new generation to usher in.

For some reason I’ve never really liked watching the Packers. Rodgers is damn good but I don’t like the Packers enough to love him

If I did only newer guys I’d throw in Goff and Watson. Out of the younger guys I’ve seen barely or not at all, Haskins and Rosen

I love Watson but to be “top 3” he can’t be on a division rival >:(

Probably would put him over Wentz if he wasn’t in the AFCS. I can’t really let myself like Luck either; but we at least beat him sometimes for no reason at all so he’s fine.

    yeah good okay Prestigious

damn how did I miss the good stuff

fuckin hell yeah, same. Zao is amazing and The Chariot is legendary. August Burns Red, Becoming the Archetype, all that stuff was my jam.

Dave could always play circles around Kirk, but yeah he's an asshole. Rust In Peace is better than anything Metallica has ever done.

they were the first non-Christian band I listened to lol so there's an unbelievable amount of nostalgia attached to them for me. Sticks & Stones is the story of my freshman year of high school.
