Fairly recently I dropped $200 on a pair of boots and $150+ on a pair of hiking shoes. Both are incredibly well made and will last me awhile and also look dope as fuck so, I’m pretty happy with those purchases.

 

I don’t have the money to really participate in nicer fashion but I respect it and if I did have the money I probably would

 

that said, some of the ticket prices for bands in this scene almost seem predatory

I have finally learned at my wise old age that you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to clothing. I've learned my lesson from buying enough ~$10 t-shirts that after one wash are unwearable

 

I once had a chance to buy a shoe at retail value of $200 and the re-sell market for it is currently around $1,500k+ and I kick myself everyday for passing on it because “values”

my only complaint is the fit of the new goodfellow brand there. it's not very flattering on my frumpy body. the chest and torso are v tight and runs a little long on me.

j crew outlet is where it's at like gc said. i gotta get an all black suit for a wedding later this year and i think a slim fit jacket and pants was like $200ish there when i was browsing which isn't that much different than JC Penny prices but fits a ton better and the same or better quality.
