I saw Jaws for the first time only like 2 years ago (I know) but it is SO good and I can't believe I missed it for so long.

Jaws is one of those movies that I feel like I’ve seen because of how prevalent it is in pop culture. Same reason it took me so long to see Indiana Jones and Monty Python.

However there is a lake around here that is hosting a showing of Jaws this summer, where you have to be floating on the water to see the screen. Might be the gimmick that forces me to watch it finally

I saw Jaws dozens of times since I was a kid, either on cable, VHS, or DVD. One of my earliest memories as a kid is running out of the room screaming at the shot of Hooper discovering the dead fisherman with a missing eye underwater. I never go see special screenings of classic movies in theaters but in 2015 AMC theaters had the 40th anniversary release and despite knowing every bit about the movie, the shot of Hooper in the shark cage just as the music strikes as the shark rams the cage from behind I still jumped out of my seat.

As a kid I used to be terrified of the scene in Jaws with the boy and the yellow raft. Just that one part lol. I have fond memories of Jaws. My grandma watches it every night to fall asleep so it reminds me of her

I didn't see Jaws until the 40th anniversary screenings in 2015 but I've seen it several times now. Glad I saw it in the big screen for the first time

Target has these blurays in store right now that come in clamshell vhs cases and of course I bought the Jaws one

    Scream is good.

Jaws is a masterpiece, and paved the way for summer blockbusters even tho it’s terrifying.
