Just listened to the mash up and Idk what I just listened to.

I just have so many questions I need answered to comprehend the green light behind that idea.

 

Yeah I was hyped on the tour and still want to go but no GA has me concerned the price is going to be outrageous for good seats...

 

The only 'exposure' Neck Deep deserve is exposure to bottles of piss chucked at them when they play. Band is full of shit-tier humans and they shouldn't even have a career.

 

Yeah Neck Deep has bad people but even ignoring that (probably not the right way to word that), I wish the other opener wasn’t just pop punk dudes. They already have Lil Wayne so it would be cool to diversify a little more, maybe throw on a Lets Eat Grandma type

 

Not long after announcing the tour dates, six cities have already sold out. Are you feeling like you should backpedal about your stance on not wanting to go out on tour with AVA? That response has to be so fulfilling and humbling.

"Oh, it totally is. After 20 years of touring, I absolutely felt that way. In blink, we had a process we stuck to where 99% of the time we played the same setlist for decades. We’d add one or two new songs in, but out of the 15 songs we’d play, 12 of them would never change. And that really wears on a guy like me where I want to create all the time."

 

I get what you mean. Putting aside the generic pop-punk opener, Blink has cultural cachet that goes far beyond what passes for their 'scene' these days so they could have put together a properly diverse bill imo

even still they don't get a pass for asking Neck Deep to open for them, sorry

 

I didn't know how much I wanted Let's Eat Grandma to open for Blink till now. Great live band as well.

 

Just read that in the interview. I’d feel the same way.

 

I can't name a song by a single modern pop punk band unless you count like Charly Bliss who would make a more interesting tour

 

Holy shit I thought GOT fans were annoying when they didn’t get exactly what they want but Blink fans are fucking unbearable

 

We need to get them and Star Wars fans and ship them off to an island

 

Feel like he should have committed to more practice (and studio) time with the band to shake up the sets then.

Well to be fair they barely shake up the setlist now.

 

LOL, keep pushing Mark & Travis' narrative. They can practice as much as they want with Skiba and they still haven't changed the setlist very much.
