Seeing that NYC and more dates are coming has been a huge relief to me. Any word if the new dates will still have Wayne?

 

When I saw Wayne in 2013 it was one of the most fun shows I'd ever been to.

I just wanna hear this live.

For me personally though, I’ve worn “Blink-182 is my favorite band” on my sleeve since I was 13. I’m 33 now. I haven’t loved every single thing they’ve done in the last few years, but that doesn’t make me an ex-fan. They’re still the most important band to me, personally.

But I get that you’re not necessarily calling me out, and it was more a general statement, so it’s fine. I’m just saying...

I owe everything to this band and that will never change. Even if I hate whatever comes next.

No clue, it was a comment Mark made in a IG live chat just saying more dates will be added when specifically asked why there are no NYC shows in the tour.

Do you think the non-lawn seats are going to be more expensive compared to previous blink tours since Tunechi is on this? That would probably be a deal breaker for me.

No, it’s national concert week and my show came out to $40 flat out for two. Expires tomorrow though guys. It’s live nation national concert week. Not just this show either, so check for other $20 shows.

2 people seeing two shows of this caliber for $85 is great.

Will likely get a VIP upgrade for one of the shows cause I need some stuff signed by mark and trav.

This is spot on for me too. I don't like the current blink much but they were the most life changing thing ever when I was 13 so I still like to keep up with news thanks to this thread in the vague hope that they'll do something I enjoy again (and also to reminisce about the past like grizzled old timer in his 30s.) The "hate" is only strong because the love was so strong.

It's like when a TV show you love suddenly gets bad but you keep watching anyway because it used to be so good and you hope they can turn it around. blink is like the band version of Dexter.

Also sometimes you just need a place to whine about things to strangers!

For as much shit as Rebirth got when it came out, it’s funny to see so many emo/hip hop artists like Lil Peep, etc. hit it big a few years later

Geez, this place may have some negativity, but I lingered around that blink-182online forum for a bit and that place is damn near violent with disagreement. I can't even imagine what Facebook/Reddit/etc are looking like.

 

The Iowa show is an outdoor venue with no seats-- looks fun, but idk if my mom will wanna be out there that long.

I hope another opener is added, at least for the Wayne-less dates.
