Sigh, I wanted to like this so much... With a few plays under my belt I can honestly say this will probably be my least favorite Blink album. With Tom acting like such a tool lately I really wanted to be able to say they didn't need him for me to enjoy a Blink album. I'm really disappointed to say that I think I my least favorite song on that little AVA EP appeals to me more than my favorite song on California. I hate myself.

It's just not a good album, I've got about 5 complete plays now and it is just super forgettable. I am at the point that I wish it never happened so Alk3 could go back to being productive, but whatever makes matt happy, more power to him. He deserves big success.

We talk too much / We talk in circles

Alkaline Trio will gain plenty of new fans after this record. Matt wins either way.

Just got through my first listen under a perfect setting: Driving to and from Huntington Beach for a quick surf trip. I must say it hit every note I expected it to... Brought the familiarity of old blink back into the fold - truly a summer time album that is the perfect of what Mark's vision has been all along without spacey intro and Delonge-isms. A few too many na-nah's and oh-oh's and it seemed like all my favorites were too short, BUT this is blink - this is what I love and I'm so damn happy Skiba took on the task of replacing Tom for this album. Well done Mark, Matt, and Travis.

Btw had the realization that my first show was 20 years ago - blink at a small shithole called the Nile in Mesa. Couldn't be happier that I'm counting down to seeing them in Vegas.

    I
ive gone from singles only to getting the rest of their albums. So I'm sure there's plenty more like me doing the same with ALK3 via blink-182

  10. I like the album and haven't listened to it as many times people who don't like it have in 24 hours. That's kinda awesome.

I'm still holding out for release date but I listened to San Diego out of curiosity.

"Home Is Such A Lonely Place" and "Sober" should be the next singles.

I hope this album has a lot of successful singles so we can finally see a new setlist.

Home would be a failed single.

I love discovering details as I giving it listen over and over over and over again hahaha. Love ,,She's A-A-A-Anti social" or ,,We don't need something to live for" parts made She is Out Of Her Mind my Favourite. Then as Mark sing melody in last word ,,Sober" on same track is awesome....there is definitely all things I wanted. Its so different but same as Untitled at same time.that little hidden sounds, vocals or whatever....awesome

I feel ya, this album is growing on me, but definitely their most unoriginal batch of songs.. Still better than 90% of what's out there, but in this day and age with the genre, that's not saying much. Oh well, they still put on a badass show and I'm sure these will sound better live.. It just seems very restrained. Don't get me wrong, I wanna love this record but it just hasn't hit me like previous releases. I think Tom gave blink that edge that i love so much. This is like a G-rated blink.

I quite like a bunch of songs on this album but I think it's going to be pretty forgettable

  19. I'm always confused by people that make statements that are verifiably factually wrong with such conviction ... the Internet is weird.

    It's all just opinion

And my opinion Sober would be a great 2nd single
I can picture the clip. Almost like a Smack My Bitch Up Prodigy style debaucary but more PG-rated with a drunk night out for all 3 members and then it all meeting up at the end in some hilarious twist like in a Larry David written show

I wasn't saying that they are R-rated, but Fuck A Dog would be R-rated if it was a movie.. Or any of their joke songs.. I'm just saying that i feel that when All Time Low first came out, And people were hailing them as the next or new blink, to me it sounded like the Kids Bop version (yes, I know blink tracks have been on the actual KB albums) but yeah, idk, blinks whole attitude and appearance to me was "edgier" they were cooler, they really were punk kids, you could here the influences, whereas ATL and 5SOS just didn't.. And this album reminds me of that.. On the bright side, I'm gradually becoming more accepting that this is their poppiest album and that can be a nice change for them.

Well if you've seen the prodigy clip you'll know what r-rated is.
And I don't think we're gonna see Matt snorting coke, Travis grabbing titties or mark having a sexual incounter after shooting up
